Jeff Wright excels as an audio engineer and instructor and receives high praise from his students and colleagues in the industry. He has a diploma in audio engineering and has been a prominent figure in the recording industry for almost two decades. Originally a musician, Jeff made the transition into Producer/ Engineer after recording and touring with a band. Schooled under famed producer “Jack Richardson” (known for his work with “The Guess Who”, “Alice Cooper”, and “Peter Gabriel”) Jeff was awarded Producer of the Year by student body and faculty. This opened several doors to gain access to the industry, allowing him to become a Staff Recording Engineer/Producer in Toronto, Ontario.

Over the past fifteen years, Jeff has focused on recording Animated television shows, which have gone on to receive numerous awards such as Geminis, Anix and Emmys. Some shows of note include MTV’s Undergrads, Angela Anaconda, Alicia Silverstone’s BraceFace, Arthur, Franklin, and The Family Guy to name just a few. Jeff has also had the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s premier recording artists, such as Kardinal Official and Fefe Dobson. Realizing a knack for teaching, he began to instruct at Trebas institute, Toronto Campus. After several years of teaching students in-class, Jeff took on the role of department head, which allows him to mold the curriculum to suit the ever-changing technical needs of the recording industry.

He is just one of many amazing instructors who are part of the faculty team at Trebas. Come and learn from the best!
